VOID CATCHER PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Void Catcher does not collect any of your data.
There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is recorded or sent anywhere.
Your photos
Your photos are edited entirely on your own phone.
- When you pick a photo, Android’s own photo picker hands the app the single picture you chose. The app cannot see the rest of your gallery.
- All of the editing (finding the cat, brightening the fur, the filters, the stickers and the video) happens on your device.
- Your photos are never uploaded, never sent to a server, and never shared with us or with anyone else.
- When you save a picture or a video, it is written to your phone’s own gallery and nowhere else.
The one time the app uses the internet
The app uses a Google tool called ML Kit to work out which part of a picture is the cat. The first time you use Void Catcher, that tool downloads a small file from Google so it can do its job. After that, the app works with no internet connection at all.
That download is a request to Google for a file. No photo, and no information about you, is sent. It is handled by Google Play Services, which is part of your phone rather than part of this app, and it is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
This is also why the app lists network access in the Play Store: the Google component needs it in order to fetch that file.
Children
Void Catcher is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change in what happens to your data.
